Why Become a Somascan?

The Clerics Regular of Somasca (Somascan Fathers), founded by St. Jerome Emiliani, are dedicated to the care of the poor, the abandoned, and the formation of youth.

A Somascan vocation is a call to live a life of prayer, fraternity, service to the most vulnerable, and pastoral charity.

Who Can Apply?

  • ✔ Catholic males baptized and confirmed
  • ✔ Must be Physically and mentally fit
  • ✔ Aged 18–22 years Unergraduates
  • ✔ Aged 18–25 years graduates
  • ✔ Desire to serve God and the poor
  • ✔ Willingness to live religious community life in brotherly communion
